  St. Anne's is a small parish centrally located in Marianna and a few blocks from Jackson Hospital. Being new to the area, the parishioners were welcoming and most impressive is the priest Fr. James Thoyalil. He is involved with helping the community and the parish and most impressive is his thoughtful homilies. It's so refreshing to have a priest that speaks from the heart and can interpret and explain the gospel without relying on notes. Ive never seen him read off of a piece of paper. I enjoy going to mass because he's such a good speaker
